This painting depicts a tetramorph (group of four elements), with the Celtic triad symbol in the center. The image appeared to me in an experiment, and it reminded me of the four fixed signs of the zodiac (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius - the four "pillars of heaven"), as well as the Christian depiction of the symbols of the four apostles (the Bull, Lion, Eagle and Man). The is a Divine Feminine, Celtic version of the traditional Tetramorph, with the unicorn as the bull, the lynx as the lion, the owl as the eagle, and the woman as the angel/man. The central Triad symbol is often called the Triple Goddess, symbolizing the Maiden (initiation and potential), Mother (manifestation and maintaining) and Crone (endings and dissolution). The Tetramorph could be seen as four elements or aspects surrounding, supporting and protecting these three essential forces of all creation.
